As a naturopathic nutritionist I use functional medicine which is a personalised medicine focusing on primary prevention, identifying and treating the underlying causes, rather than masking the symptoms of serious chronic disease.

The following principles apply:

• Biochemical individuality - we believe that each person has variations in metabolic function that derives from genetic and environmental factors.
• Patient centred care rather than disease centred care.
• Rebalance the human body - we believe the body works like an eco system, being an orchestrated network of interconnected systems all working together; therefore one system could be out of balance which in turn will affect others.
• Health is seen as positive vitality not just absence of disease.

I offer diagnostic testing to help identify the drivers which are the route of the problem which is causing the symptoms within the body. I will then treat with a naturopathic diet tailored to the individual and also give advice on which high strength supplements would be best to treat your condition, re-establishing optimal cell function to ultimately help bring the individual back to optimal health making the person feel better and more energized.
