“When I arrived at Heidi’s group 4 weeks ago I was very sceptical to say the least.  I didn’t believe that I could lose weight and feel healthy with food.  I was also concerned that healthy eating would irritate my irritable bowel and make me bloated. 
The first week was spent getting my head round the plan, which I found surprisingly easy.  I hadn’t eaten breakfast for 5 years so my lifestyle and body were in for a shock.  4 weeks later I feel healthier having lost 2lbs a week. I have tried many diets from the age of 14 through to 50 with varying degrees of success.  Although I have lost large amounts of weight I have not been able to keep it off and then I would put it back on and become even heavier than before!  Each time I became more disillusioned and found it harder to lose weight.
This is the first time that I feel genuinely excited by a diet; I think it may be because it doesn’t feel like a diet.  It feels like I am learning to eat properly, but actually for my health as I am able to eat a range of foods that are enjoyable, I don’t feel deprived.

The food choices are basically very easy to find in the supermarket or health food store and many were things that I would already be eating.
