Hypothyroidism

Hypothyroidism is the insufficient production of thyroid hormones and is a very common complaint.  Between 10%-25% of people suffer but go undiagnosed.  Many peoples lives are drastically affected as standard GP tests are not sensitive enough to pick up mild forms of this illness.

Symptoms

At Alternative Living we can offer the following:

  2. Test adrenal function which is closely linked to compromising thyroid function
  3. Increase T4 to T3 production (T3 is more potent form than T4)
  4. Explore mineral and vitamin deficiencies
  5. Inspect toxic metal overload
