Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, also known as Post Viral Fatigue or Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME) is an illness said to affect over 250,000 people in the UK. It can be defined as persistent fatigue unrelated to exertion which is not substantially relieved by rest and is normally accompanied with the presence of other specific symptoms (for a minimum of six months). The cause of CFS is currently unknown and therefore no recognised cure is offered from the orthodox medical world.

Symptoms

Fatigue is the most common symptom, which normally comprises with other other symptoms including muscle/joint pain, sore throats, foggy head, congitive difficulties, mental and physical exhaustion, hypersensitivity, depression, poor immune response, cardiac and respiratory problems.
